March 31, 2011 big event for True Combat community.
Hundred or Thousand players will download CQB.

The question is:
Does file hosting will handle this traffic :?:

The worst case scenario is total Denial Of Service if we use one point HTTP file transfer :oops:

I want to suggest use parallel to 'classic HTTP link' a torrent network - to let people optimize traffic and save TCE.COM bandwith. Maybe somebody can ask Coroner to allow torrent during 2011-03-31 8) Then every new player can quickly get fresh CQB from P2P network.

Then, I can seed up to 20Mb/sec upload helping more players faster download dreamed CQB.

I think that this is a good idea.
I will seed also as long as needed if coroner sees this as possibility.

imo its not really needed, even if there would be only 1 link (which i doubt) people would upload it to different sites and within like 1hour we'd have at least 10 sources...
having a torrent isnt really a bad idea either, its just that a lot of people dotn have a clue what torrents are, and there are even more who wont really be helping out with seeding ;)
if u desperately want a torrent, then you can do it urself easily right after release(i'd even help out seeding, tho my upload is miserable), but i think the links will spread faster

Yes, you got that right! We need to anticipate for the 10,000 users that will download ET + TC:CQB on release day! Multiple links shall be provided during release.
