Hi 17!
Good to see another old-school TC player! I once read about some q3tc players playing on openarena, and I'm afraid that the fading community got spread among the various quake 3, ioquake3, openarena versions, which didn't help to keep it together...
Last year I put together a slightly botched but working standalone version of good old True Combat, and there was no response from the community.
DOWNLOAD HEREI'd be very happy if you could download it, and help fixing the few bugs it has. Notably, it sometimes refuses to load a map, and displays an error message talking about an "unsupported color conversion". I think it could be fixed just by changing the palette.tga file (I might be wrong), unfortunately I don't have time to work on a project if nobody appears to care.
Also, the quake3 master server is offline, which means you cannot browse online servers, however you can play and browse servers on LAN, and you can connect directly to an IP address.
If you have any suggestions, I'm curious to read about them!
