What should MWTC do?
1 map release on the "hopeful" basis that 3rd party contributors will contribute TC-specific scale and quality maps 93%  93%  [ 26 ]
Use selected original COD4 maps and sticking to COD4 scale (previously dumped when thought to have map contributors) 7%  7%  [ 2 ]

I think this is the time to put all the differences in focus, but to overcome it. It is time to overcome the difficulties in accepting one another, so as to arrive at a common denominator. I guess I could port/remake skirmish. But I would need someone to help me with VIS and lighting, because I am using 3ds max for mapping.

I could release within a week. It seems to be the one map solution. I am not entirely convinced though ...

Ok. So, how many time would need to finish Stadtrand, Mr.G? If was soon to end, I think that it could give some breath to syx to complete Skirmish. After all, it would have two maps instead only one and after sometime would be three, and another guys working in some maps could help to improve this situation. I think two or three well finished maps could motivate people to work on own maps. If Mr.G agree in complete the job in his map, I see no problem in release the mod as soon as possible...

Having a playable release might quicken some of these maps :) As long as the mod isn't locked, though! Release! Release! :)

I did say at the beginning of this project that northport had already been ported to cod4. although the scale of it was very off, i suppose we will have to wait for the alpha files of mw:tc to see if it is any different there, that said, its a very simple map and would not take much time to redo.

An unlockled alpha is a must, as that was the only real issue with cqb, no one could develop for it and hence it quickly became boring with only the one map
