Cool, are you making your own game with ET engine? Though you say it's just an experiment...

No, Just seeing how TC maps looked in different engine (darkplanes/xonotic) but got carried away with all the weapons and stuff! :oopsie:

Fun! I've done something similar recently with another engine (Daemon engine):

 Quite nice hehe

I see some nice features
Rendering

Modern GL3 capable renderer
Improved Quake 3 shader system:
Procedural vertex deformation
Alpha mapping
Specular mapping (color and intensity)
Glow mapping
Bump (heightmap), normal, and parallax mapping
Many special effects:
Motion blur
Rim lighting
Bloom
Heat haze
FXAA
Outline fonts
Procedural animation blending

I NEED TO TRY THIS ENGINE MYSELF :D

If I recall correctly, Daemon is highly based off of XReal

Yes, the engine history is something like that (red path):

So, it could be a good engine for an ET mod. :)

The Daemon is a good engine and actively maintained. Also, the Xonotic team is currently trying to port their game from Darkplaces to Daemon.
