It didn't lose players last year, more like since 2009-2011 and
when the sad news came that none of the TC flavors would
ever get an update ever again.
You can still play TC:E on a daily base, there are still people playing,
only thing that bums me out is that the serverlist only shows servers
with people in them. Would be nicer if it just showed ALL the available
servers.
CQB is another story, Coroner is busy on that one again, but don't
put time frames on it, let the man do his job (next to all the other RL things).
Thing now is that you can only play the map that comes with it, no others
are available because it's locked. If it's 'unlocked' people can add maps and
hopefully people will start to play again.
Then there is also Tango Down, which is a remake of TC:E-CQB but
isn't made by the original developers, but by a new team lead by me.
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2513Still not finished, but getting along nicely, imho.
So on the development front things are still moving in a very nice
direction, where hopefully a wide audience can enjoy playing their
beloved game again.
You see, True Combat isn't dead .... IT'S ALIVE
or at least.... we're working hard to bring it back
