| NC09 Semifinals - The Rematch Week! Sunday 25 October 2009 @ 21:58 EDT  The search for the "Greatest TCE Nation of 2009" is slowly coming to an end...  Why are we calling this week the "Rematch" week? Finland & Japan battled during the NC07 semifinals on maps Stadtrand & Vorort. Two years ago, Finland came out on top 11-9. This week, they face each other again during the semifinals on Stadtrand. Will history repeat itself for Japan - or will they reverse NC07's outcome? Or will Finland once again be victorious and advance to the finals? Turkey/Croatia & France did not face each other during NC07's semifinals - instead they did during the quarterfinals. The maps then were Delta & Frostbite and TK/HR defeated France 11-9 (contrary to a lot of the predictions). Will France discard their "Most Overrated" reputation and carry on to the finals? Or will Turkey/Croatia repeat their NC07 quarterfinal - and NC09 Week 6 - victory over France on Frostbite? We'll find out this week!  Predictions are now up @ Prediction League! Only a few more matches to go - so make sure you don't forget to predict! ;) I hope everyone involved in NC09's semifinals has a great week, and I'll be back next Monday to announce the Championship Match (and Bronze Medal Match).
